I think the Rose color is really pretty, but it depends on your wardrobe I guess...for some people this would go with a lot of things, but if for instance you wear a lot of blues/greens maybe not so much.

if you are worried about matching, the grey will go with most anything, so maybe that is a better bet for your first bag and you can get a more fun color later? I went through a similar debate recently (I liked the bright blue and green bals this season, but ended up getting a more neutral dark blue because it's my first bal and I wanted it to match most things!)

Thanks for the advice.... I just check with our local store.. and they don't carry the grey color... so if I want it .. I'll have to order from mytheresa... (maybe i'll wait for the F/W collection and save up for a second Bal with a more neutral color...)

I like the one on NPN. Does the colour vert lichen go with most things? I fancy a green bag but it is a lot of money for something you might not use that often.

I think it's a great basic color and goes with everything. Not the bright in your face colors Bal generally does, tasteful and classic IMO!

Is the NPN one a good price? I'm not sure how much the Metallic edge Velo retailed for in goat. They are no longer available apparently new, only in the City tote. I like to do my homework before a big purchase

Recently got this ME Velo in bleu paon! I am loving it, the pics don't really do the color justice. In daylight it's a lovely dark teal, but with a bit of brightness to it. Sometimes it looks more blue, sometimes more green. My first bal and I'm very happy with the velo.

I think they retailed around £1245. They were very limited in the UK.
It's a very wearable classy colour.

Hi peachy! I think the ME bags are thicker and I have black it has more of a shine to it then the givenchy IMO. It's becoming more and more slouchy.

Thank you Loveheart for the information. Not a great saving then. Its a tough call when you can buy a metallic edge city in black goat for £1265. Think a black city might get a lot more use.
