CeeJay, you are woman who started it all for me! I saw your Bal-apalooza thread and I was done for!
I had discovered a pen mark my husband accidentally got on my new town back edge bag today! Right across the front 2-3 inches long. Under the front pocket. After much reading I decided to try a Q tip with a bit of hairspray! Voila! It worked. I followed up with some leather honey and wiped off any excess amounts.
Will re examine tomorrow in the day light that it's gone, but i haven't even owned the bag for a week!
Of course my hub denies doing the deed!
Digging how durable the leather is!

I lucked out and found mine on Ebay about 6 months ago. My seller wanted to fund a black Celine mini tote. Her loss was my gain!
I got my ME Bal today in the Rose Aubepine color and is wondering if I should exchange and go for the Gris Perle instead... The only light color they have available in store today in the ME is the one I got; and I saw the light gray color from mytheresa.com and just thought it would be easier to match with outfit? (I'm more of a casual person... )

I think the Rose color is really pretty, but it depends on your wardrobe I guess...for some people this would go with a lot of things, but if for instance you wear a lot of blues/greens maybe not so much.
if you are worried about matching, the grey will go with most anything, so maybe that is a better bet for your first bag and you can get a more fun color later? I went through a similar debate recently (I liked the bright blue and green bals this season, but ended up getting a more neutral dark blue because it's my first bal and I wanted it to match most things!)
