) and I’d rather not spending a few hundreds £ for it to be destroyed in a few months

The wood part of the bed is extremely sturdy and heavy. This is how the bed looks like today. It is at least a year old.
We have another bed with an extra pad. Those were about two years old and still look about the same.
My dog and my late dog would scratch to get themselves comfortable. But they are not destroyers.

May I know how is the blanket holding up? I’m thinking of buying one for my cat but she likes to chew and scratch pretty much everything. The website says the blanket is “very resistant” but is it really?
The blanket (the dog one) still looks brand new. I have a large "human" one of the same print that we are really rough on. That one is still holding well. I don't know about the chewing though as none of us chew on it. A fair amount of digging has been done by the two and four legged.
I just got a new puppy (I now have 2 dogs), and I couldn't resist carrying him to the vet today in my B30! He's too small to fit in the Hermes collar. But will soon be too big to fit in the bag!
