My old man cat has always loved our H blankets.

Ends up our new little guy does too. He really likes playing with the H tag.

And his name... I submitted "Hermès" which was quickly rejected, but "Hermes" the Greek god (the trickster) and with English pronunciation was accepted (my kids are both into Greek mythology). I usually just call him "Hermie".

Your cat is so adorable! Do you find that there's a lot of wear and tear on the blankets from him? Considering getting a blanket but not sure if it would be safe around my cats

We have only had Hermes for 1 week, but he is a crazy kitten bitting and scratching at the H blankets like crazy. Right now, I can't see any damage. Maybe if he gets bigger and keeps up the behavior, he could pull at the thread/stitching at the border of the blanket, but the blanket itself is pretty sturdy.

Our other cat (his name is Ginger- like your screen name!) has been sleeping on both blankets for years with no issue. The only wear on the blankets is the pilling (nothing to do with pets) which doesn't bother me. If it did, I would just run my lint shaver/removed over them like I do for my clothes.

So cute! Does she actually use it? I bought a portable mat for my dog and he still preferred to sit on the floor. Maybe it’s because it wasn’t Hermes and he thought it wasn’t good enough
She has used it at dog shows. We kept it rolled up at home. She has no problem using her H beds or the raincoat. In fact, she refused to go out in the rain until we put the raincoat on.

Hats off to everyone who can keep their puppies still inside their Birkin for photos.
My little monster tries to eat the Birkin . ;)
The bag is really well made and stays unharmed from the little shark teeth.

So so precious!
Awwww that little face and button nose I'd even let that cutie chew my bag..hey Luxury is that which can be repaired!
And didn't one of Jane Birkin's bag have teeth marks from her dog (or cat ?) on it??

The handle can be replaced. I have done far worst with my Bs and they can be repaired. He took a bite at the twilly too. I can’t find any holes. So that’s fine too.

What I am impressed with other people is that their young pups stay still in the bag. Mine was doing anything but still. I can train my older dogs to pose and it has never been this challenging.

I'm not looking for a B right now... (Prefer Ks) Maybe in a few years. But when I get one, I am definitely going to be taking pics of my cats in the bag! I don't think it would be a safe way to take them to the vet though... :(
