Someone I follow on Instagram has the soft trunk messenger. I don’t think he use it regularly. But the shape hold up well. Both are identical.

I tried on the PM version of that bag when it came out. I liked the way the bag looks, but it's a little annoying to get in and out of.

I am using it for more than one year. I found that it is very easy to access. IMO, the clips is a good protection for your stuff if you are wearing cross body and the bag behind you. For the silver hardware, I just leave the protective plastic untouched. Of course, after a few month it will come out.
