The way I see it, why pay 3 x the price to have a custom made trunk clutch i.e. like the eclipse and macassar ones Kim Jones did when I can get something similar for essentials in the Petite Malle?

The custom order Kim Jones trunks were $6500 USD. His runway MTO was actually reasonably priced. It’s only since Abloh took over that suddenly all the MTO is $10k or more! Sigh... Fortunately there is nothing I want to buy now!

Took a same day round trip flight London-Amsterdam to pick this one up. Sold out in the UK and it's seasonal. Didn't want to chance it + the flight was only 60 GBP LOL. Got to save 200 GBP for buying it in EUR.

Landed > Louis Vuitton > Bought > Lunch > Airport.

Anyway, since his arrival, I stopped buying new releases (RTW, shoes, accessories) at the boutiques and focused on buying Kim Jones and Paul Helbers RTW, shoes, accessories on VC. My collection has expanded with timeless, elegant items that will last me / appeal to me for years to come. I may need to post my purchases in the RTW and shoes clubhouses.
