Tried on the Odyssey Messenger but i didn't think it looked good on me. Looked more of a woman's bag on me. I think the District PM looked good but hearing bad reviews about the flap? Having cracking issues on it eventually but saw on this forum that the softer newer models with canvass was not as prone to cracking and creasing. Was hoping for a bag i could use everyday for a loooong time that will hold up quite good. Not really a huge guy around 5'9 170 lbs. Any advice? Other suggestions not in the choices would be highly appreciated

the district pm is good... I don’t think the flap will be such a problem like the MM where there’s more canvas that will bend to the hip. Wear and cracks can happen to a PM but I haven’t been worried about mine. The MM did worry me because the flap really bent to my hip.

Out of all the PM bags, I like the Mick the best but the corners are pointed and can also have wear. The Dayton PM is no longer available online or in stores unfortunately... if it was I would say that’s the best option for looks and longevity.

so of all the bags available I guess the Trocadero would be a great choice. Take a look at the mick too and see if the corners bother you or not. I feel if you’re not throwing your bag around violently then it will be fine.

Will definitely look at the Mick but leaning more towards the District. Feel like it's the safer choice for a 1st purchase. Thanks so much for your input

It’s a great little bag! The only con I can think of is there isn’t a zipped pocket on the back to keep things extra secure. The damier infini district pm however does have a zipped pocket.

Definitely would've been much better with a zipped pocket at the back but not a deal breaker for me. I'm more worried about the canvass on the flap cracking. Glad you're enjoying your . Makes me more confident about getting one!
