Yes the judy blame brooch was commercially produced (not in this exact rendition though). I can't remember how much I paid for it but it was around the region of USD1000-1200.
I was a bit lost for words when I saw this in the boutique! I looked online for a bit and contemplated on getting this at a later time, but wasn’t sure if it was a seasonal item and it was sold out. So I basically was going to ask my SA to order me one. Glad I walked in and seen it cuz the SA told me all sizes were sold out and other customers had asked to see it while I was holding it and trying it on. So I jumped the gun and bought it, even though it was slightly oversized. But I’ll wear it as a jacket.
I seriously think VA is destroying the men's line. Yesterday I went into LV to check on my Pochette Metis and the store gave me a store credit. In the end, I couldn't find a single thing I liked from the Men's line. I just exchanged and topped up abit for a PM in Empreinte Leather.
How long do these artistic directors stick around at LV? I think that is the question everyone should be asking.
Kim Jones was the first one who was in charge of LV Men's collection. Before him, it was all spearheaded by Marc Jacobs.
That's true. I think it's popular with a certain segment of the clientele. I think LV saw the enormous success of Gucci's 'in-your-face" strategy and they are trying to replicate that.
I think the worse is that these hypebeasts can really buy anything at any price as long as it looks street.
