Hi! New (ish) to purseblog, I mostly lurk, sometimes post. My favourite brand for men's accessories is LV and hopefully one day I'll be able to afford a Louis of my own. The Christopher is my dream bag! For now I'll lurk and enjoy the bags by proxy! Such beautiful accessories, enjoy!
Kim Jones is going to head Dior Homme.
Wow. That seems like it might be a really good fit--much more than the rumored Versace.
Yes. I read about this last week... although it was just a rumor then. It was also speculated that Maria Chiuri (former co artistic director at Valentino), artistic director for women’s Dior, will not be renewed when her contract is up in a year (or two) and allow Kim Jones to take over her role as well. This makes sense as it becomes a step up for Kim Jones than just a lateral move. Poor Maria... her departure from Valentino was a complete surprise couple years ago and looks like she may be homeless soon. Sometimes taking a risk works out and sometimes not. This move to install Kim Jones at Dior is in concert with Slimane taking over Céline. LVMH is on fire these days.

Well, there must be plenty of barf already in there, as Dior has already made skateboards for the past few years.
Sorry I’m a Vivienne doll fanboy. 
This new keepall is coming out soon. I had this on ordered forever. Can’t wait to see it in person. Would I like them not to put “Louis Vuitton Forever” on the bag? Yes... but I guess it’s not that dissimilar with the Fragment Cabas Light or others...
I agree that it would be sad to see another woman in the industry go...but, Maria isn't as good of a designer as Phoebe was at Celine. Everyone LOVED Phoebe and she consistently got fantastic reviews from critics. Maria is liked by many but so far all her collections have been pretty lackluster and many critics seem to not be much of a fan of hers.
Dior made skateboards before with Kris Van Assche.
Dior is already making skateboards and trying to appeal to that group of audiences...
