Strange I just noticed that the bag my SA showed does not have leather patch in front like yours. See pic.
I don't think that's gonna happen!
The whole collection is based on the animal sketches!
I didn't love it at first but I grew to really like it. However, I don't plan on buying anything from this collection. I don't think it fits my style .
Strange!? Mine has the leather patch, I wonder if your store got a manufacture defect, althought they are made in france.

Is there a giraffe on both sides of the bag? Maybe that patch is only on the front side and the SA showed you the "back" of the bag.
Per my SA, it is made in France as well. She is puzzled by the missing leather patch above the giraffe print.
I feel like sometimes these seasonal pieces come with odd variations. I bought an Ultralight backpack from SS16 and it was missing a top handle. The pics online (and runway) showed 2 for top, hand carry and the version I bought only had one. I bought the white version and the black version in the store also only had 1 top handle as well.
There is a giraffe on both sides of the bag.
