Pillbox seems so interesting! My SA ordered it for me so we shall see!!! Anyone buying the phone case? What about that gold one? [emoji23]
The phone cases are hideous in my opinion. So I am not going to buy one!
Please post pics of the pillbox when you get it! It looks like an adorable object. What is the price?

My concern was accessing the District while standing to grab my umbrella or something like that. That the flap opening towards you would be 'in the way' due to the way it would open. I also felt the zippers on the Mick would prove more secure should the bag fall over, etc.

I'm basically only considering the DG pattern since it goes best with the clothing I wear and matches my other LV items.

Anyone with a Mick MM have a picture of how the bag looks when carried? I haven't completely discounted the District, but would love to see how the Mick looks also on a similar sized guy.

The only boutique near me has to special order all men's stuff. They carry none in store except billfolds. So I basically have to make my mind up without seeing in real life.... which sucks
A zip top bag is way better than a flap IMO. It's so much easier to access things. I find a flap to be a nuisance. Plus I think flap style bags don't wear well where the flap molds to your body. Mick mm or Dayton mm or jake mm gets my vote!

I think at the end of the day, the Mick MM is a great bag- whatever the ocasión or if it's appropriate with your look depends also on where you reside. Style and fashion vary even between Northern and Southern California, let alone from country to country, city to city.

Everyone,

Thank you all for your input and advice. Special thanks to Csetcos and Dee1Jay for the pics and taking the time to share your own experiences. My SA has ordered me a Mick MM in DG. Apparently this style is hard to get right now. Supposedly there are only 3 (now 2) in the US.

No clue- I will find out when I am charged LOL!

Totally agree! I actually parted with a lot of LV bags- we are talking about probably 15- just to have a well-curated collection. I can't let go of my Mick MM, DE Icare, DG PDV, DE Beaubourg bag, Bastille bag (my first luxe item ever, bought in 2001), DC Cabas Voyage from Japan (with long handles!), and a few others.

So I love my Mick, for sure!!

Hi!

I start wirth a re-post from the jewelry storage thread.

"What I keep at hand for the week/month or plan on wearing soon is kept in a customized Louis Vuitton briefcase that sits on a table in my dressing room. I had a wonderful company, specialized in custom leather work, build the dividers and re-do the briefcase's interior, all in finest, leather for me."

I keep coming back to look at this spectacular piece. If it's not too personal, would you mind showing us a peek at your dressing room. I need a little inspiration.

Again, thank you very much! I'm sorry but for PerSec reasons I absolutely can't and won't share any pictures of my rooms/the place I life. I only have a few limits regarding what I post online, but that's a hard limit. I wholeheartedly apologize!

Kind regards,
Oliver
