You could still pull back the belt part that sits above the zipper and unzip the opening for access to the inside, while leaving the belt buckled, but it WILL be a bit annoying each time you do it, because that,upper belt part is stiff, so you have to force your hand into the bag and avoid having the zipper scratch you -- does that answer your question?

Haha, it probably confused you because of my "drama queen" style of writing, which is not unlike a very detailed story, that ends up sounding like venting and rambling all in one!

I ordered the same bag yesterday and already received shipping confirmation, it was shipped from a store. I am a little nervous when something being shipped not from Jax. I hope it's not going to be a display model.

Congrats -- you got THE ultimate low price!! For what it's worth, when I went crazy with the Peanuts collection last year, a variety of items came from stores and they were all perfect and boxed appropriately. Also, worst case scenario, is it a problem for you to return it if it's unacceptable?

Thanks. I'm so excited to receive the bag. I think this bag will be so fun to carry on sunny summer days. I can always mail it back to Jax if I don't like condition of the bag. It takes longer but at least I don't need to answer all these questions why I'm returning. Anyway, this bag is my last bag purchase until July. Have you carried yours yet?
