She sounds like the epitome of what is wrong with a good majority of my generation. Why is it considered wrong or degrading to work? Most people have to, and I consider being like Paris Hilton to a bad thing. Get a job that you like (most of the time) and do it well. Working at Coach is lovely. I have a friend who is going back to work there part time. I wish my job would allow it. They're lovely to their employees there.

Enjoy your job, and ignore people like her. Remember that she has to pay full price when she comes in, and her job probably isn't quite as much fun.
