I’ve been under the weather so have some catching up to do.

First up is a brown 10 year anniversary LE lizard embossed city. The leather is softer than I expected and the color saturation is exquisite. It’s not like the later lizard embossed leathers where the color flakes off. There’s no wear on the color or flaking or chipping anywhere, even though it does look like it’s been carried plenty.

Deep saturated chocolate color is TDF.

No offense to friends here who have or love their brogues/covered hardware bags, but I’ve never been a fan. But I’ve wondered what’s under the leather cover, and even posted a question here about it. I’ve seen so many of these bags looking like they have amazing leather, but I could do without the covered hardware.

So I bought one planning to remove the cover on the hardware, hopefully to find shiny smooth large versions of the regular hardware. Dirtbag seller never shipped and 2 weeks later cancelled the sale after I prodded.

Then I found this bag, where the seller had already done me the favor of scraping the leather off the hardware, revealing exactly what I was hoping it would look like! I still need to clean them up around the edges, but I’m definitely in luuuuuurve! I see more of these hardware uncovering projects in my future.

The hardware on the backside is left intact. I haven’t decided yet what I will do about it.

Well that works! I’ve been so frustrated seeing really nice covered HW bags with scabby-looking studs. Glad you posted this!

Finally, the most gorgeous orange men’s day. Color code is 6508 but I can’t locate the exact name or season for it.

This is a later men’s day so the strap comes off completely. I’ve been on the hunt for a suitable shorter strap and not finding anything that was perfect. Until it occurred to me to use the chain strap from one of my Ravers (I’m embarrassed to say how many of them I have amassed ). Perfection!

So tag indicates either 2011 or S/S 2012. I wonder if the codes were different on the men's version?

That's the best explanation. The Men's items and probably SLG and other non-standard items (like the beat up wallet) would have this alternate color code. Which would make this Men's Day Orange Brulee. Holy cow, have I been sleeping on Orange Brulee. This city is a match with the color of mine. Mine looks more burnt than shown in my pics.

Update your chart, @haisley, the color is now officially Orange Brulee.
