Most frame shops will do it BUT I paid a lot of attention to the technique and ensured that I went for something reversible and used pins - some shops used tape and said it was reversible I also looked at Google reviews extensively, specifically for scarf framing reviews which turned out to be few and far between. It requires a different expertise to mount the silk scarf straight. Eventually I went for this IG based guy who specializes in framing scarves - cost more but made me soo much more reassured!

If you're in Singapore by any chance I can PM you the ones I seriously considered, else just generic advice

I might chime in too that if the scarf has a rolled hem, make sure they don’t flatten it between the mat and the glass. You can use tiny spacers to keep the glass directly off the scarf. HTH

Thanks so much DME! It got delayed at the warehouse in NJ, I think the chemical smell came from that as it’s smelling only like luscious empreinte now.

Mine was supposed to be delivered today (by UPS), but it got delayed… somewhere due to a train mechanical function. No new delivery date yet. I have some items heading west to Yoogi’s that have also been delayed in Middletown, PA, but no idea why (also UPS). Apparently UPS is having a bad week.

I’m glad the smell is gone and all you’re getting is leather now!
