Wanted to share some more photos of the LV X JK pieces at the pop up store at 60th Street and Madison Avenue in NYC. The displays are beautiful in the gallery-like setting. The various managers, team leaders and associates at the pop up store are very knowledgeable about both the pieces and the particular artworks and LV has brought in docents as well to share the history of the paintings with visitors. My favorite is the Rubens line and I agree that the Titian Neverfull is a beautiful piece capturing a moment of passion. Perhaps the most difficult to get piece will be the Da Vinci case, which comes only in the teal color. Apparently fewer than 30 of those cases will be made available in the US. I was looking at your pictures - very beautiful... but I noticed on the Van Gogh section there appeared to be a piece I haven't seen before - on the middle shelf next to the clutch and the zippy wallet there appears to be a wallet on a chain? ... is that the case? It's just there aren't any online anywhere so I was curious if this was a store only piece - or perhaps a US only realise?

Yes, that piece is a wallet on a chain. I'm not certain whether it is exclusive to the US or to in-store purchases only. I understand, though, that some of the pieces were not available for purchase at the pop up store as they ran out of stock but that the stock was being gradually replenished. If there were only a display piece left, LV was not able to sell it. To retain the integrity of the visual display, it had to remain on the floor. On a side note -- Van Gogh said this painting represented a deep feeling of loneliness; yet, at first glance, it appears to be a verdant and vibrant scene.

I REALLY want a nice WOC and was hoping for one in the Masters collection but not the Mona Lisa, so I just texted my SA to see if it is possible to order :) If it is available I will definitely buy it, if not I have to think about the NFs a bit more haha.

The bags are beautiful but the gold lettering just doesn't work for me. I imagine people will be carrying the bag with the artist's name turned against their body. There is something really pretentious about the artist's name, like you are spending $3000 to announce you are cultured. If you are cultured, you don't need to stand on a podium and tell everyone this about yourself. This is not sophisticated at all. Subtlety scores more points, since the artwork can stand for itself. I'm sorry if this offends people. I was disappointed the designers ruined an otherwise beautiful idea.

Thanks for your response. It's a tempting piece - I've already ordered the clutch. I love Van Gogh - his work is amazing. When I visited Paris I went to the Musee 'D'orsay which has one of the largest collections of his paintings- including starry night high is one of his most famous works and just after he completed it he committed suicide.
