I love the Fragonard!!! Another purse to add to my "grail" list!

That Fragonard clutch is in a hidden corner of my mind. I think it looks very delicate. But the little angel whispering on my right hand side is telling me that it is too expensive for what it is. Still, I could use it daily inside my bags, and wear it for a special night out. Trying to rationalize here.

Does anyone know if the canvas is screen printed? Or is it painted like the regular mono canvas? (I don't know how to explain this, hopefully other people will understand what I mean)

Well, it's taken me a full day to look, look, and then look again. At first I hated them, but now I like them. I would certainly consider getting a Van Gogh speedy. The Da Vinci Mona Lisa is a little too much face for me though. I guess it's much like art where it can take a minute to appreciate it.

ohoh...that may be troublesome for some pocketbooks around here. (o; I am anxiously awaiting the reveals/mod shots as I won't be anywhere near a store anytime soon.

There is no difference in the way that the canvas is printed. Vuitton uses only one method to print on the canvas.
Sorry, that's not what I meant. I'd like to know if the canvas of these bags is printed in the regular way or if it's like the LE items, like the Tahitiennes or the Evasion collections. That would make them more prone to chipping.

I think it is printed..I read it in one of the articles. I hope it is though coz chipping would not be good

I second @fabuleux on this. LV uses only one method to print on canvas. They use it for all patterns.

Hmmmm.... i came here as soon as i got the LV promo emails a few days ago...most of you echo what im thinking too...this collection will look dated fast. There is a little clutch, pouchette with the Van Gogh that looks lovely but thats about it. I tend to go for classics that will be wearable for decades...these though... i could see a young trust funder with not much to do getting 1 but thats really it. Id rather put my money towards my Iceland trip thus June.

*Wrinkles up nose*...

I am also wondering this, I think this is what the poster meant:

So you know the way the Murakami panda rubs off faster than the actual monogram canvas? There is no difference in the way it is applied? TIA
