The Massai is only lined in linen...to be honest I fined the line line bags more difficult to clean the inside than the unlined bags....

The unlined bags you can just wipe down...the linen if it's stains, is very difficult to clean on its own...

I don't mind the unlined H bags such as the Evelyne. What I like about the Masai though is that it has a zippered pocket. I agree with teh comment on the lining though, once that is dirty, it's tough to clean.

I am not aware that the Masai weighs a ton. Mine is light as a feather.

Hi hello2703-do you have the smaller one (PM) ? That's the one I'm after. It didn't look too heavy in the photos of member's bags...I realize how that sounds, look too heavy, but you know what I mean! I have a bad disk C5-C6-so, UNFORTUNATELY, I think I'd better buy both the Evelyne and the Massai....No really, I just have to give up running and carrying medical books in shoulder bags. And I have to buy the Massai.

I have the smaller one (PM) in cerf leather. I cannot sing its' praises enough. It's light as a feather and just molds to my body like a glove.
Maybe - just maybe - it's a bit heavier in clemence, but surely it's still very light.
I love the Masai, I really do, but I still think that you need to try it on before you buy it.

The swift PM is absolutely weightless. I dont own one, but if my life werent so dirt oriented, I would have brought home the rose dragee swift one I recently saw...So beautiful, very comfy, too.

Well.....it came! And, wow! I never exoected it to be so soft! It's Ebene Clemence, PM. Truthfully, it's lighter than most of my other bags. It's my first Hermes bag, and I'm amazed at the quality of the craftmanship. It's horribly slim and elegant-I hate logos, and the Masai is so understated-Thank all of you so much for the advice- I HIGHLY recommend this bag!!!!!!!!!

Yes-even though I'm a surgeon, I am unable to resize photos-I am working on it. It's the damn little things that elude me!!!!!

For resizing i just send my picture to my email and it will then ask to resize, maybe that works for you too?

I was outbid this morning, by some evil personon the Barenia Evelyne. That's a good tip for resizing-my photoshop won't let them get small enough!
