As described by Marco... “Pompei is perfect to create quite structured bags. It is thicker than Merinos and Nappa but the weight is less than Pebbled. It creates an effect similar to Natural Flat Calf. It is a long lasting leather, ideal for daily stress. The surface has stunning light, not glossy but not matte, just beautiful light!”

Got the Pompei swatches, maybe this is a clearer photo than the one from the blog. And Eggplant compared with Port Merinos and Burgundy Pebbled. I’m surprised that Eggplant is more brown in the swatch than the photo of the whole skin sent by Marco before. Probably lighting. I took these pictures in the garage nearing dusk.

The blush is so pretty but I would ruin it in a day.

Though Verona and Trinity are similar it has been noted that some feel Trinity may feel a bit plastic to the touch. There is also concern about wear as it appears the color is just on the surface.

Sadly, the Africa leathers have been discontinued. I am really bummed about this, it was one of my favourites.

Thank you so much for posting this. It’s somewhat confusing, however, that Colette’s promotion email shows photos of Pompei colors (such as black) that are not included in the swatches posted.

It’s true - it seems they just released the new colors with this recent promotion. Hopefully they’ll take some updated pics of swatches soon.
