I was going to pass on this card holder and opt for a card holder from a different brand… but your photos are making me have second thoughts lol

Are the studs exposed on the back/in the slot?

There are no studs inside the slots. The studs & DA pattern is exactly the same on both sides.
I guess a concern may be that over time, a ridge would form near the bottom due to the cards' edges. Two studs are located right where the ridge would form. I've got 3 cards stuffed in the side slot & the studs would stick out a tiny bit, but not enough as to feel that they're going to pop off after a while. They're glued/welded onto the canvas pretty tight so I'm not worried.

I finally got a Recto Verso today, after thinking it was ugly when I first saw it, and now I’m in love. Lol. Over time I learned that small wallets/card cases/coin purses work best for my lifestyle.

Technically April purchases but the pouch arrived today.
The chain is only long enough for shoulder wear, so I will probably use the Coussin PM chain instead for a bolder statement. The raffia weave is different from last years collection (for those curious). There also is a microfiber lining and no card slots (as are shown in the other Toiletry 26 new models).
All in all, I’m very pleased with these items!

I ended up returning my sunrise pastel Zippy because it wasn't love (in theory, everything about it should have been perfect for me, but for some reason, I just didn't like the way the pattern looked on a wallet that size). I got these two instead. I currently don't have any DA and I'm a sucker for the hot pink.

so now my 3 straws and pouch set has arrived and I will keep it. the straws are fine and the hole in the leather buckle is not broken. i think that will happen over time as the leather strap presses down on the foldable ends and you can already see the kink. but it has not yet torn like the last hole. some have bought similar sets, is that the case with you too?
this time I got a very nice box.
