Yeah, a satire. You might want to check it out. I don't think Ryan Gosling would make a movie just to be Ken. He would want the script to have a lot of depth.

Here's AD report on the Barbie dream house/ aesthetics. It's quite exciting.
Margot has been killing the red carpet looks for this film. I am a little relieved Amy Schumer dropped out as she was originally supposed to play Barbie. Margot is much better suited for the role.

Agree. Margot is very pretty, barbie-sque if need be in these dresses, and she's really toned at this point. Healthy and beautiful, not stick figure skinny. So I think she really projects a new kind of healthy Barbie aesthetics. I'm also glad it's her.

Well it would have been a whole different film. Amy wanted to do a movie about Barbie being an inventor and getting kicked out of Barbieland for not being perfect enough. I think Amy would be very well cast for a role and script like that.
They hired a new director and new scriptwriter and did something completely different. Margot is perfect for this role, but I might have been curious about the different storyline that Amy wanted to do.
Oh, modern day Barbie look-alike: Paris Hilton. If you've ever had the chance to see her in person, she is STUNNING. So tall and statuesque. She's really pretty with perfect skin.
I’m visiting family and my cousins and I took our kids to see it today. I was floored. It is fabulous!!! Laughed so hard I cried and then really cried!! I’m 41 for reference. Best movie I’ve seen in a long time. I love satire. Margot Robbie is the ultimate “stereotypical” Barbie and Ryan Gosling is a perfect Ken!
YESSSSSS!!!! It's so good! The plot was well done, it really surprised me. My daughters and I went to a Barbiecore party at our theater Thursday. That was a lot of fun too. Everyone seems to be having a lot of fun. Refreshing! I'll have to watch it again to see all the eye candy I know I missed.
eta, Margot Robbie looked really good in this movie. I thought she played Barbie well.
