Honestly, I think this bag looks amazing on you. I think it is the perfect size, and the color looks divine. I don't think the handles are too long, and I don't think the small is too small for you.

In my humble opinion, the size looks great on u. But it depends on ur preference. I have a medium, sometimes I feel like it's a bit big for me, eventhough I'm a big bag girl, I think because it's too slouchy, can't hold shape like a small does.

Sorry to hear about MJ's bad experience... MT should keep up with their quality.
I've been using the bag for 3 weeks. The leather gets better over time. I didn't really realize it, my husband pointed out to me. Believe me, he is very picky about leather. At first when she arrived, his first comment was not good. He said it's too dry n stiff. Now, he said it is soft n fluffy... Since I have a shawl in the bag, it feels like a smoochy pillow

Are all of the handles on the medium the same length? Some look shorter than others in the pictures I've seen.

The newly desgined ones (where the strap attaches to the sides) have longer handles, whereas the older ones (where the strap attaches to the back of the handles) have the slightly shorter handles.
I personally like the shorter handles but want the straps hanging from the sides. But it doesn't exist!

Anyways, I also think you look great with your small Lime MT! Doesn't look too small for you at all, I think it looks quite cute. I'm debating the small size too. May I ask how tall you are?

LMM, I think it actually looks cute on you it is a nice size for that 'wow' color.
However, if you don't feel comfortable with the size, you should return it for the Medium.

Needless to say, I have been very happy with my bag. Yes, the leather is thin and wrinkly but it is surprisingly durable and I do not have to baby it like my Balenciagas or Chanels. I carry loads of stuff for my 3 kids including my essentials and it has always held up pretty well by the end of the day. I have even brought my bag to the Little League baseball field, placed it on the grass or the dugout areas, and have had no problems. It has been my go-to bag for running errands and such, and with throwing pens and sharp objects inside like PSP/phone outlet&car chargers, etc., it has still managed to retain its shape after I've removed the items that night.
Btw, I do have a Hermes Birkin (40cm in Togo) but personally it does not phase me in the least bit to have to compare and contrast. Yes, my MT may look somewhat like a Birkin but how I wear each will depend on occasion since of course they just function differently(to me, that is).

BooYah somes up my sentiments exactly why I have MT's as I too I feel there is a place for a bag I don't want to baby. I only have one kiddo, but we have lesson and sports, etc and it is a perfect bag for those type of activities, since sometimes you have no choice were you have to set your bag....ie floor, carpet, I just bring the bag home and you a wet one on it. My other more $$ bags have their place too, but not at an outside tennis match.

I have to laugh about the pens are I never have one in my bag EVER, now I will have to carry one in my MT, how liberating

I just read you're 5'7 and now I'm having doubts about the size again I really like that size on you, and I'm only 5'3 so it would look good on me too (I think).
It's only when I compare the measurements with e few bags I own, the small seems really too small...
The fact that my Medium is still held by customs doesn't help with the doubt and crazyness either It arrived in my country on Wednesday evening and went into customs on Thursday morning. Come on, how long can it take?!

I think the size would look good based on your height! The size for me isn't a problem (capacity-wise)...it's just the way it looks. It's cute...but I don't know, lol.

I hope you get your bag soon! The China Blue is GORGEOUS! If I didn't already have 2 blue bags, I'd get that one as well.

Yes, exactly!

Thanks. I'm about that height, so I might consider getting the small. I love the Medium, but I'm not a fan of the longer handles and they don't really look proportionate to the body of the bag IMO. Prior to seeing the actual pictures, I said I would prefer the longer handles, but now that I see it, I prefer the old style more.

I'm returning mine. I have to pay a 15% restocking fee though... It sucks...I bought it through eBay and I didn't know about it until they told me that.

Maybe I'll buy a lime green medium in the future if they still have it. I just don't want to spend $400 on it. It isn't worth that price, IMO.
