i didn't want longer handles so that's why i got them. i thought the proportions might look off if they are too long. plus, i really wanted the violet color and wasn't sure if it would be offered again.

that army green was tdf too.

i wonder if the colors will fade like bals do...hmmm? does anyone have any thoughts..for you ladies that have had them for a while? have the colors ran or is there color transfer?

Hey ladies, I got my MT medium dark blue silver hardware from Erica about 10 days ago.

10 days after using it, I must say that it's very nice to carry. I like the fact that it's very soft and light, extremely rugged and looks better stuffed up. Complaints about not being able to use the shoulder strap and difficult closure of the bag aren't really true. All I have to do is put the main flap over the main keyhole and turn the keyhole to close the bag. The shoulder strap is totally usable and comfortable on the shoulders, it can also be worn crossbody but not for super long cos it does get uncomfortable if you have a weak neck like i do.

I don't mind the handles not going over my shoulders. My miu miu bow satchel don't have long handles too. Actually I have a baby and i find tt carrying my boy with a shoulder bag is most uncomfortable cos they always slip off. so handbag is best cos they sit at the crook of my arm comfortably.

The blue is also what i wanted. Very close to black but not black.

However, when i first got it i must admit i was disappointed with the workmanship. The gluing together of the leather makes the bag look cheap and crumpled.I had thoughts of returning it but then i hate returning stuff. now tht i've used it for a while i can actually ignore the crumply bit because the bag just looks very worn and kinda nice.


All in all... I think this bag suits the more edgy and casual type of personality (which i am). Not your super ladylike dainty sort.

Thanks for the review! I like a bag that had a little edge to it too. I am also looking forward to getting mine!! Have any pics to post?

The longer straps would definitely be a plus for the Medium sized one IMHO!

i'll try to get some mod shots up later but to tell you all the truth, i am kind of on the fence about it. my SIL thought it was a H birkin so idk..i had to explain to her that it was a lot slouchier. i looooove the color tho.

Love the color! Definitely load her up and carry her around the house. Whenever I see my MT laying around empty, I start questioning if I really like it. And then as soon as I load it up and take her out, I am in love again.

^ thanks debbie. this is the first batch hg bags brought in. i wanted the darker purple color and didn't know if it was going to be ordered again the next time around so i just got this one.

^^^Great modeling shot! I really like the color.
Like some other people, I wasn't sure about the bag... but after I used it, I became like it. I used for about a month straight (under a several bad weather) and it stayed amazingly same as when it was new. also the hardware is scratch free. I think they have really good coating. Then I felt bad about neglecting others so I took AW Rocco out. But I know I'll go back to MT soon....
