Marc Jacobs on Oprah!

The bag Oprah had did not look like a cheapy at all!!...Did anyone notice the chocolate croc details on the bottom, some sort of light python details on top and the leather on the sides...not to mention the classic monogram canvas all over.....I was in awe.

She said on the air that it was a gift - and everyone was complimenting her on it and she was taking special care of it.

This is my personal opinion, but I feel that if it were another designer who did LV, it would still sell at relatively the same rate. I think most people buy it for the name and quality, and not exactly for the name of the designer. So therefore, I don't think he cares whether people copy him...it is flattering because I feel that if someone else made bags for LV, they'd get copied too! So might as well enjoy the flattery while it lasts.

That bag retailed for $5450.00!!!! Not to mention the fact that it was very limited!! Please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that LV did not give celbs stuff for free/gifts. I remember reading on another message board that Jlo got upset when she couldn't have the dalmation print bags she posed with...
