Marc by Marc Jacobs Petal To The Metal Sasha Shoulder Bag

Hello

I'm new and have had a quick skim through this tread and can't seem to find an answer. Has anyone had problems with the Petal To The Metal bags? I've heard complaints of them being really heavy and the strap not being abel to take the weight of the bag, so they split.

Anyone else had problems?

I definitely have not had any of those problems. I have the Natasha, and I don't think it's a heavy bag at all.

So I got my Sasha newsprint yesterday and I love it - however, I feel a bit overwhelmed - it seems huge. But I will get used to that right?
Anyone else feel the same when they first got theirs?

^ i heard a few gals say teh same. some doubled the strap on it, and thought it was a better fit....have you tried taking out the stuffing?

thanks veganaise, yeah i have been checking ebay but the only one i found was the marsh one. the rest are newsprint or grape but i don't really think i'd get much use out of those colors.

if anybody happens to come across somewhere i can find the sasha in rust let me know! do you think any stores will be restocking it at all?

The new colour they have out, saddle (which they have a natasha in this colour on NAP) is similar to rust without the orangy tone.

oh my gosh thank you so much veganise and baglady! i just snatched one up in rust from bonazle and am soo relieved, i had been looking for weeks and was starting to think i wouldn't find the rust ever! thanks for the help!

tad posted pics of Drew Barrymore shopping at the MbyMJ store in the Celeb section -- I don't know if these are recent pics or if they're older, but there's what appears to be a Black Sasha in the background of one of the pics. I had thought someone said a while ago that MJ stores were sold out of the Black -- if this pic is newer, it might worth a phone call if someone still wants that bag

I just receivedthe black Ukita Petal to the Metal bag from Shopbop. It's a good medium size that fits over the shoulder but comes with a strap to wear as a messenger bag.
