Does anyone know when this bag may possibly go on sale? thanks!

Based on its popularity, I don't imagine this bag will be marked down anytime soon - they just came out in September. That doesn't necessarily mean you can't get one on sale and/or marked down

Saks Friends & Family sale starts on Thur (10/15) and the discount is 25%. I know Saks is carrying this bag - Most Nordstroms stores will price match this discount as well. If you want one at a reduced price, I'd try and find one at Saks or Nordstroms later this week

Thanks Iluvmybags!! Do you happen to know how the bag is? is it heavy? and do you think the leather will get softer/slouchier after some uses? Its so adorable! Oh, anyone seen the Niagra blue IRL???

The Sasha isn't heavy at all, but remember you're talking to a bunch of MJ fanatics who are used to chunky hardware and suede lining. :p I don't doubt the leather will get softer and slouchier with use, but it's really not an issue since the leather's so soft in the first place. The Niagara blue is pretty IRL, but I prefer the black and the browns personally.

Thanks blackonmaroon! I am torn between the blue and the marsh brown, I do find the marsh brown to be more versatile and I also find that the hardware goes nicely with it, the blue is a beautiful shade, and I love how it looks too.....ahhh why does this have to be so hard?!!? but I don't know how much use I would get out of a blue bag, I have enough black so that out of the question and the rust is a tad too orange for me , oh gosh...what to do...

I was at my Nordies last week and my SA will even order it for me if it's not in the store. I love the Sasha, but after getting used to and loving the weight of the MJ, I can't get used to the light weight of the MBMJ. But I keep going back to that sweet rust Sasha. :graucho:

has anyone tried taking the strap into a handbag place or shoe place and having them shorten the strap? It's the perfect length when I wear the bag messenger style, but when i want to wear it as a shoulder bag it's longer than I want. I'd rather have it a little shorter when I'm wearing it messenger and have it be a perfect length when i wear it shoulder style. Oh and I don't mean the doubling it up shoulder style, but just the one strap.

Does anyone know if a shoe or leather specialist can even do that? Cut it off and sew it back up together? Who would I go to? Thanks girls!

have you tried doubling the strap? there are pics earlier in this thread.
it really helps and you don't have to cut anything

So I broke down and finally joined the "Sasha Club"!
I stuck with my first choice - the Marsh Brown. The Rust was pretty, but for me I thought it was a little too oragney-y (plus the leather was pretty bad on the one they had and I didn't want to chance ordering one from another store site-unseen!). I had a brief moment of regret when I got home that I didn't look at or try the black - I no longer have a basic black bag and I was thinking that maybe the black one would have been a better choice, but decided to stick with the brown.

I carry mine with the strap shortened. I'm not a big fan of cross-body styles and altho I don't mind the long drop on my shoulder, the bag feels much heavier when I leave the strap long hanging from my shoulder. At this length, it's perfect and the bag doesn't feel as heavy.

Here's a couple of pics - I posted more here:
