Hi im a bit late. Sorry. Just seen this now. I only used a leather lube made by sof sole. It still scratched n scuffed easily

No worries, thanks for the reply! I've noticed that mine doesn't scratch quite as easily but there's still marks. I've worn mine about 3-4 times and it's definitely softening up too.
