I have the Circle Bag in Cammello and have lots of fun with it. Good for days when I want to feel very girlie. The few times i have taken it out, people have commented what a "cute", "pretty" or "fun" bag it is. Not a good bag if you don't like being noticed at all.
Thank you! I can imagine, it's very eye catching. Very Grace Kelly! I'm debating if I'd get enough use out of it to justify. It's really not an everyday bag but it is so pretty !
i absolutely fell in love with the look when it came out but it really is an impractical bag. I made the mistake of using it on a recent shopping spree and it definitely slowed me down from quick purchases (to the delight of my husband) because you have to set it down on a flat surface in order to unzip both zippers to get to your wallet or anything else.
Petite H thank you . It looks like it comes in 2 different sizes and one has canvas interior and one suede. Do you mind sharing what size you have and how much it holds? I really don't need this bag but keep looking at it oy vey
Mine is the standard size 11"X11.5"X3" vegetable tanned leather w/ canvas interior. Only calf comes with the suede interior, which was a minor disappointment but not worth $300 since it's a "fun" bag for me.
Mine can hold - regular size wallet, sunglass case, tissue pack, lip gloss, keys, iPhone 6+. And since you're a fellow Grace Kelly fan, you should check out the Mark Cross "Grace Overnight Bag" - it's a replica of one she used in "Rear Window". That will be my next and probably last impractical bag.

I'm going to be looking in the post-Christmas sales for a MG lady bag in black for work... I figure it's versatile enough to wear for work, right?!
Just can't decide whether I want veg tanned leather or saffiano. Problem is that I'm in Australia and can't actually find a saffiano to have a look at it.
I know saffiano will not show wear as much, but saffiano just seems so shiny and almost fake looking (at least to me)...and there's just something about real leather and how it wears in... First world problems, hey, but I'm torn.
I hear that the saffiano strap can flake and crack a little...but I don't know if that's something that is going to sway me. And I know that the veg tanned might not hold the shape as well...
If there's any amazingly pertinent drawback to either one, I'd love to hear it from folk more experienced with MGs. Particularly interested in how the veg tanned lady bag wears over time and if it sags in any un-likeable way. Anything that can help me decide!!!

I don't have the lady bag, so I'll just comment on the quality of MG saffiano. I've had my saffiano tote for over two years now and used it nonstop for work, errands, travel, etc. I haven't had any issues with the strap and love that it still looks brand new.
Personally, I'm not into the natural aging of the veg tanned leather and am bothered by the slightest scratches, so saffiano was the obvious choice for me. However, it sounds like you may be inclined in the opposite direction. I don't think saffiano is shiny, but if that's how it looks to you, it may bother you in the long haul just as scratches would bother me.
