I am wondering if anyone can speak to the care of the lighter-colored calf leather bags. I am interested in the blush calf mini lady bag and curious to know if I need to worry about water stains like the veg tanned leather. Does the leather scratch easily?

I haven't had any problems with water stains or scratches on my calf bucket but it does have the small scuffs on the corners that they seem to get. Being rosa it's not noticeable but I think a darker colour would be.

Hi, I just purchased a black/red mini bucket and I love it but the leather seems a lot more matte then I imagined or then it looked online. I want to know if there is a conditioner I can apply which will make it look less matte (if that makes sense!) and if not what is the best conditioner I can use to protect it before the first wear? Thanks

has anyone had this issue with their label? i got the saffiano bucket bag regular size and the label is coming off.

i contacted someone from mansur and she has been very lax about the whole thing. she takes her time in replying and after sending back the bag for replacement, she hasnt gotten back to me for about a week now. the customer service is sub par and it's quite frustrating.

Hi all! I need

I used to use the Chamberlain's conditioner on my mini mini. It made it look a little less matte and added a pretty gloss to it.

The calf doesn't patina as such. It wears on the corners a bit. I've had a Rosa mini for a couple of years and apart from a bit of scratching on the corners it looks the same as when I bought it.

Can't tell you how a fake one ages though, if you ended up buying the one from the authenticate thread. I assume it's not real leather or not the same leather as the real ones.

Conditioning my black bucket bag tonight for the first time with Apple Care conditioner and a old wash cloth. I'm a little nervous but I am sure it will be fine. I use my bucket bag a lot and just notice a few scratches the other day. I feel like this bag scratches quite easily compared to any other bag i have ever owned.

It's a miracle!

I just received my new rosa bucket and to my horror there was a huge blue color transfer stain on the back (not pictured in the post on theRealReal site tsk tsk). I was going to try to send it back at first but I read through this thread and decided, what the heck, I'll try the makeup remover trick. What do you know? It worked like. A. Charm. The blue came right off on the cotton pad and the bag now looks 100% brand new! No discoloration or anything! Thank you to whoever figured out this trick and shared it!

I couldn't agree more! My bag has scratches and I enjoy using it without worrying about them. I have found that regular leather conditioner makes a big difference to the scratches (thanks for the tips to all who commented on that topic). The conditioner and wearing it regularly have all but faded out the rain drop marks too and the brandy leather looks better and better the more it's used!

Do the black ones get raindrop marks and obvious scratches like the lighter colored ones do?

I have three black leather vegetable bags from MG and two cammello ones and the black hides all the wear better in my opinion. Unless you are very heavily scratching it the scratches are like non existent and I have gotten caught in the rain and have had no marks that i could see. That being said I still spray them with apply gard just in case. Hope this helps!

Question- did it discolor the bag at all? and what type of makeup remover? I have a rosa and it has the same issue.

Hi everyone,
I went out to eat tonight and some of the broth from my ramen seems to have splashed onto my relatively new bucket bag :(
I tried using apple leather cleaner and conditioner to no avail. If anyone has suggestions please let me know! I'm feeling very bummed about it IMG_1510289714.785960.jpg
