I am having the same experience with Manolos. I normally wear a 40 - go to Saks the other day and try on a few pairs. The sizing ranged from a 40.5 to a 38.5 :push: Most of the time, every pair I tried on was too big. I tried on a pair of point-toed mules that were on sale in a 40, and they were huge! I bought the silver Sedarabys in a 39, which I guess shouldn't surprise me, because d'orsay styles can run large.

Maybe vanity sizing for shoes is a growing trend? ;) I like the fact that I can fit into a 39. It's like buying a pair of pants in a 2, when I normally wear a 6 :p

Oh gracious, please tell me it isn't so. I already wear a 5, because I can never find a 4.5! They start doing this and I'll never find shoes to fit.

:shrugs: Anyone else notice Manolo sizing getting bigger? I bought a pair in 39.5 about 6-8 months ago and they fit perfectly. I bought a pair last week at 39 (slightly big but wearable). Today at Neiman's I was slipping into 38.5! Am I imagining this?

Nope, you are not imagining this or if you are I am too! :laugh: I actually posted about this last week because I had to send back all SEVEN of the Manolo's I got from Neiman's/Bergdorf's after Christmas sale because the size I usually order were GINORMOUS when they arrived. I was so bummed because now the smalle sizes are all sold out. :sad:

I agree. They are more tts or even a little large on me too. They used to always run a little small. I hate it when they change...it makes it very hard to shop.

I fell in love with these shoes, but with hearing how sizes run a bit small, I just wanted to get input as to what size a US 9 should order in this shoe? I have both 40 and 41 in European shoes (non-dress shoes), but I'm not sure if those rules apply to Manolos.

i say size up in the MJs because they mention that on the page...I know when i originally tried them on at NM, I did 40 and 40.5(i am a 9 in US sizing) i had to do 41. You will enjoy those shoes...i would have loved to have kept them but i had to returned them to bergdorf g...because the metallic was rubbed off/fading:crybaby:
