manhattan pm/gm or mj venetia?

loren- i'm so sad to hear about the gm.. it really is beautiful but the buckle sounds like a pain! :sad2:

thanks for responding everyone looks like it's the venetia over the pm but i'm not sure i'd be comfortable with carrying such a big bag around without being able to sling it over my shoulder.. i'm a shoulder bag/hobo kind of girl and i get frustrated when i carry things or sling things over my arm and let it hang there. lol. i had a speedy 25 but it just got too annoying to carry around so i let it go.

i'm not the biggest fan of monogram but i think it just looks so elegant with the manhattan.. i think i might just have to go with it unless mj comes out with something fantastic..

My vote is for the Manhattan PM. It can't fit over the shoulder but it's sooo elegant, I love it (I don't have it, I just love it when I see it on people).

Assuming the venetia is the size of the GM, you can fit it on your shoulders. Actually I recall a girl in one of the handbag communities on LJ being able to fit her quilted venetia on her shoulders

I have a regular MJ venetia, and love, love, love it! I use it quite often, and during the warmer months, it does go over the shoulder, but not at the moment. I don't mind toting it at all. I think you should go with the venetia, but of course, I am biased .

My sis has a Manhatten PM. It looks smallish to me, but boy, she sure can stuff a ton of her things in it!. It does go over her shoulder. But she's 5'4" and a skinny minney! It's her favorite bag at the moment.

I would go for the Manhattan. I'm been drooling over that bag lately and am constantly trying to talk myself out of buying that bag b/c of the cost. But...it..doesn't..seem...to...be....working!!!!!!
