Mandarin OR Blueberry Petit NOE?? Which is more versatile?

I have the mono Alma and use it much more than my 25 Speedy because it's easier to get into. I'd vote for the Alma over the speedy but perhaps Dad is right....sounds like the Noe is the bag for you. Hold out for it....

The LV website has taken the mandarin and mocha colored swatch out from the Petit Noe page. The remaining colors: red, black and blueberry spot the new shiny brass hardware...

I sure hope my SA was not ill-informed. I am getting paranoid. What if my local stores are unaware that mandarin color has been discontinued and think that new shipments are coming in as per normal?

I also am skeptical about asking my friend in NY to help me get the mandarin from Elux. After seeing all the defective LVs in the store, rust, scratches and all, i don't think i should risk it ....
