I love the leather button with the DA, but are you worried about wear? I’d say do what makes you comfortable.

I have an unexpected tiny grail to share squeaking into magical March - thought I was out of luck. Missed when it dropped and have looked ever since. Here is my “third times a charm” keepall xs!! I adore pop art and mid century modern architecture and style, the black and white distorted damier on this piece reminds me of those things. I adore all three XS I have now, wish they weren’t d/c. Just glad I could find this perfect new one before the XS is gone! same thing happened to me. ordered the monogram but received with leather button so i returned it. i heard some say that they will keep and if it wears out they are assuming lv will likely fix with gold button but i'm not willing to deal with that. having had emilie in past that leather button will wear out, withing few months if you use daily. i am going to wait few more weeks/months and get it in gold button.

I'm beginning to warm upto the idea of seeing the changes in the patina process. I like it when it's fairly dark against the mono canvas. So I guess its gonna need some serious sun tanning.. can't wait. Its way too pale at the moment. I shall update with my progress.. I hope I'm going to find it fun too :biggrin:

Thank you he is amazing my other half. He said he wanted to put it in my car seat as a surprise. But unfortunately the UPS van (big giveaway) parked outside my front window. I was like ummm. Hubby dash to the door and the delivery guy asking the hubby that he needed proof of ID because it was a high value item gave it all away. :-s I had the biggest grin and he had the biggest sigh with box in hand. :angel:
Yep..I'm so proud of myself being able to abstain from LV for more than a year. I remember I said In the new resolution thread back in 2021 I would refrain from buying any more LV. Technically I still haven't broke it :biggrin:

Yes all natural Bumbles!!!! I’ve tanned it everyday since I got it haha. It’s by the window with the blinds down or half down. And I flip it from time to time. Out of the 4 chaps I have 2 that are slightly lighter. Haven’t gotten them to even out yet. So it’s been tanning for almost a year! I’ll get some pics tomorrow.

yeah! the thought of having to send it to lv for them to fix is so annoying. i just want something that will last a really long time!

Thanks guys for the input.
I've decided to return it and wait for the one I really want. Turns out that Paris updated the photos but the stock we currently have is all the older model with the leather button. CS was kind enough to put me on a list for the newer model - hopefully I won't have to wait too long!
ugh! opening up my package was so anti-climactic...
