Wow, there are just too many gorgeous things in this thread to comment on, I don't know where to start!

I bought a black legacy shoulder bag on the first day of the sale but after I brought her home and played with her a bit, I decided that she had to go back. So I brought home a black Ali instead! I LUURRRVE it! Now I just need to get a wallet to go with it, they didn't have what I wanted :( It was funny, when they were wrapping up my Ali, a woman was waiting to buy a sig swingpack and she had a black Ali on which looked great on her. She told me she's had it since they first came out and that it has held up great-she mentioned that she's hard on purses too. So I spent a bit more than I had wanted to but I feel that I deserve it, I've been working like crazy lately.

They actually had none of the new cotton stuff yet :( Also, the shoe selection was not great. The only thing I even considered was a pair of black Ireland wedges but then I decided against it at the last minute. Now I'm wondering...should I have gotten them?

Anyone who did the pre-sale - did they give you the discount for opening an new Macy's account the day you ordered?? The manager who rung me through said that since the transaction wouldn't post until the day of the sale -she would have to give me the discount for opening a new Macy's account upfront becuase you only get the discount the first two days the account is open. Ummm....she was incorrect. I checked my statement today and it posted the sale on the 2nd of May (date of pick-up/sale start) AND a 15% discount. So I got 20%, 20%, 15%. I called Macy's credit - got someone in India - they have no idea what I am talking about - presale, discounts, coupons, sale dates, pickup dates, her poor head was spinning. I couldn't convince her what the mistake was and she said that any errors would be corrected at the end of the billing cycle. So we'll see. Interesting.

Wow, so you got extra discount! I also opened a charge on the 2nd but they did not give me the 20% off at that time, they told me that their computer could not recognize that it was a new charge but that the 20% would be taken off when I got my charge statement.

I actually had called the credit cs yesterday with a question and I got someone in India, but I called back today with another question (I'm a pain, lol!) and spoke with someone who spoke English well-didn't sound like it was in India. So maybe if you try cs again, you'll get lucky.

Too tired to post pics tonight but I found the silver Rosabel sandals today! I never go to this particular Macy's but my husband wanted to go to get a Mother's day gift...so I lucked out:p
