I bought a pair of the square toe pink sandals back in feb. then finally got to wear them for the first time last weekend. After 4hrs of wear (dinner, walking for 1/4mile, bar) the shoes started to fall apart. Literally the lowest quality pair of designer shoes I own. The crystals on the straps fell off probably due to poor design. You have to wrap and overlap the straps. Those barely glued on crystals were not designed to handle friction from walking. One of the soles lifted and moved out of place as if they were glued on with Elmers glue. Im not sure if mine were defective but this shouldn’t be happening at $1k price point! I only wore them ONCE!
I tried to DM and email them but no response.
Anyone else have similar problems after wearing them?

Omg this is horrible! I just received my glitter pair and they smell horrible like toxic chemicals...I did a preorder from moda and it says no refunds but I’m kind of concerned from the horrible smell. This makes me even more concerned.

Oh noooo, I wanted to buy a pink glitter pair but this is horrifying! Were you able to get in touch with customer service?

Wow! That is terrible. I was looking for reviews as I was soooo tempted to buy a pair, but that has just put me off!

Hi! Any more reviews of quality and comfort? I’m very tempted to buy these gorgeous shoes for the holidays but want to make sure I can walk with the heel and they will not fall apart…

Actress Heart Evangelista has a pink pair that I'm liking. Usually baby pink and glitter means too twee, but I think these look great. Hoping the quality improves over time!

Oh my goodness! I thought I had done something wrong, but yes, the exact same thing just happened to me with my first pair. I wanted to love these shoes and was very very disappointed. I should have known the crystals on the ankle straps were very delicate as a couple of them were kinda loose already when I received the shoes. I did not walk a long distance either, just from the parking lot to the restaurant and back. I lost so many of those crystals. The extra ones they provide are not sufficient and Im sure they will fall off eventually as well. So sad. I took them back to the store and they could not replace with the exact same shoe (they were out of my size) but gave me the option to get another pair. I went for a pair without the crystals on the strap, just a metallic strap. Less sparkles but we will see how those wear.
