Hi all! As you can see what my next bag will be via my new avitar, the Utility Crossbody!

But of course, there is always a dilemma! I ordered the mono since it was love at first sight! BUT.....

I freakin' love the interior mono lining I just saw on the black leather one! I can't afford both. Wth do I do, someone, anyone?? Help!

I love how Monogram will look timeless for this bag though. It lends to the safari/utilitarian vibes of the style IMO. Black bags are numerous in the marketplace (and done well by many fashion houses) while Monogram is distinctive to LV.

GL deciding, either way. I think LVoe at first sight is pivotal for this :)

I bought the black one and still on the fence if I should change it to monogram version. I recently saw my friend having issue with LV black leather bumbag, I just worried if mine will be like that next time. I tend to collect and kept my bags aside and only used those I often used. My bad habit. But your avatar pic 's version looks diff from the boutique. The coin pouch's closure lock is diff. that is nice!

what hapd to the leather on the bum bag? I own a YSL calf camera bag and the leather actually has a dent in the back of it.

i love the mono utility so much. I plan to keep it. I really would want the black one for the mono lining which I think is awesome. NG is really shaking stuff up playing with the iconic mono and doing all kinds of creations with it. I also love the reverse mono. So I just wanted to kno if it was even worth saving for the black one. Thx.

Attached pic of the running stitches we found at the side of bumbag. :-s it was bought last year and she used once been kept in box and just recently took it out. She has no chance to use it last year since lockdown. Will be heading with her to boutique to check. I worry my black version will become like her. Though the price is much higher for such lil utility crossbody , makes sense to get all leather since they are priced the same. I had a hard time to decide when I was at boutique last Friday.

Had a hard time deciding as both are pretty in it's own way. I thought the bags will be bigger but it is actually much more compact in actual piece and very cute. In the end, I opt for the black calfskin leather version.

Reason is that it is black and the strap is black but still has LV wordings. It looks chic , classy for almost every occasion with shiny ghw. Can be handheld, crossbody or you can attach your own strap to wear it over shoulder. Another main factor is that the price is same for both versions, SGD 4 050. So makes sense I should opt for leather. :shocked:

Mine is made in Italy even the monogram as well. Please note that this is seasonal piece and one thing I just learnt from store manager, this bag does nor have date code. For upcoming new models, LV bags or accessories will crease to have date code.

In the US, both styles sold out everywhere almost immediately so a lot of people are in love with either! I had the MNG & the canvas is very tight, no give; I found the pouches to be almost useless. Like GAN explained, both are priced the same even though leather is usually more $$, & the leather pouches are functional for stuff. So, I kept the black . Because I wish it were more clearly from LV, I added an LV charm on the side. The new Collections are a lot more exciting, I think; and, I still wear my now-vintage pieces. So, it's great to see people picking up perfect earlier pieces❣

I recommend the black. See my Reply to GAN. But, you might just love having the MNG canvas. In the US, the MNG was gone-gone-gone. I wouldn't worry about the light colored strap; I decided if I were to use it as a crossbody, I'd use a mng or black strap from another bag. But the light strap is very pretty on this piece! Keep the one you'll really use; the black is great for day-to-night because the gold trim stands out.

I think this is a Utility Crossbody thread. Anyway, in the US, no one could order the Coussin PM. They've already been delivered to the stores & were offered to their best clients. Here, it's super-important to have at least one SA to whom you're loyal so she/he will work hard for you. But none are magicians; sometimes, some items just go really fast, like the Coussin PM. Not orderable; not available at all anywhere, at least not now.

in Singapore, we still have the coussin but in 3 colors available. I just went to boutique yesterday with my friends again as they wanted to browse the new collection. I tried out the PM size bu find the bag heavy and maybe due to the chains. So a no-no for me.. but it looks stunning.
