Let me know what you think! When I was placing my deposit, my SA told me $3950 US for both, I think. I remember being shocked that they were the same price. I do wonder if the white strap will be a dealbreaker for me. If the all black isn’t nice in person, I may not end up with this bag in any version!

It seems to be like LV is trying to up its leather game. They are going out of their typical pebbled leather, pricing the same as mono with darker strap, they really want the black one to the most popular sold out piece in this bag :biggrin:
And they have that mono interior with the black one which is unusual and unique.

I just came back from my shopping at boutique and came back with the bag. Yet to unbox, maybe tomorrow I will unbox and share.

Had a hard time deciding as both are pretty in it's own way. I thought the bags will be bigger but it is actually much more compact in actual piece and very cute. In the end, I opt for the black calfskin leather version.

Reason is that it is black and the strap is black but still has LV wordings. It looks chic , classy for almost every occasion with shiny ghw. Can be handheld, crossbody or you can attach your own strap to wear it over shoulder. Another main factor is that the price is same for both versions, SGD 4 050. So makes sense I should opt for leather. :shocked:

Mine is made in Italy even the monogram as well. Please note that this is seasonal piece and one thing I just learnt from store manager, this bag does nor have date code. For upcoming new models, LV bags or accessories will crease to have date code.

It sucks to know LV is getting rid of date codes. It is cool to know where and when your products were made, and that information being attached to the product, rather than being presented in a separate slip. Date code was a nice "luxury" IMO. :tdown:

Yes! You r right! the black one has nicer interior lining, very unique. The monogram has the plain brown textile lining.:biggrin:

LVoe this monogram (what's the name) bag !! I'm a fan of organizational pockets (I bought the men's pocket messenger last summer). Can you show what fits in the bag ? It seems a bit smaller than the men's version I have. Congrats !

I have to admit @GAN your pictures leave me undecided! I will try the black when it arrives for me and see if it feels too one dimensional or if it’s perfect for everyday use! I’d also love to see the monogram in person, but I don’t think that will happen unless I pay for it and wait.

Maybe you can ask your SA to reserve the monogram version for you to try when you pick up the black. They should have display sets for customers to view. I just happened to be lucky as their stock just arrived and it just happened that I asked them to reserve 2 version for me to try out to decide. The monogram is very cute , gives diff fun vibe but the light strap likely get dirty easily since I wear lots of dark color clothing and which SA also confided that it best to steer away. The black gives very classy vibe, can be casual or dress up depends your outfit and how you decide to carry it. :smile::heart:
