LV vs. YSL Card holder

Shop it around and look at them in person is my advice. There are more options than just YSL or LV too - I have a Prada cardholder that is holding up really well. I also have a YSL compact wallet that I really love. And maybe consider the Gucci cardholders too? I've been eyeing the marmont ones myself....

Did YSL or any YSL-hardcore-lover did something bad to you in the past?
You hate on YSL all the time in nearly every thread and it starts to seem like a personal conflict

I would vote for Chanel card holder. I was thinking to buy LV card holder but went Chanel one and really like it. It is soft and can hold multiple cards in single card slot.

I keep looking at the LV Reverse online BUT it only has three slots, so I haven't pulled the trigger. I need four - CC, Debit, Transit Pass for weekends, and then my ID.

I have two YSL Monogrammes and the quality is quite good. However: I wouldn't pay full price as they always go on sale (and am eyeing a few right now for Boxing Week sales), especially if you are not picky with colour. The YSL is REALLY stiff when you first get it though, like there's a bit of a struggle to get cards in. BUT they have such pretty colours against the brass hardware, like little pieces of candy in a bag.

I have cardholders by Chanel, YSL, and LV. LV canvas is, hands-down, the hardest wearing. I think it has a reputation for that, as well. I actually prefer my LV wallets (Empreinte leather) to my Chanel wallet.

Same here! And I need more than three slots for my cards and cash. I have a variety of card holders, none from LV, but my Gucci Mormont card holder is my beater one that I’ve been using daily since 2016. Aside from the corners darkening, it‘s still going strong and is in great shape.

OP: if you want to splurge on a card holder, I would suggest one from Goyard. I have two and love them- they are sturdy yet slim. I would also recommend a Gucci one as it is not as stiff like YSL but more pliable.

I love love my black ysl card holder!! Still looks brand new, i use it every day too. I love it.
