I hope they keep making them! I should have done what you did and gone out and bought earlier! I was in LV Atlanta last week and they had a few wallets left and the LV in Saks had nothing in multi-color. I should have moved faster, but at least I got the wallet I wanted.

Well, I don't know for sure, but two people who have talked to sales associates recently (I have as of yesterday) heard that the line was just being condensed.The manager and three SA's of my local boutique all confirmed the line was being discontinued at the end of last year and again when I was at the travel book launch discussing pieces I had the SA said they had no more pieces as it was now discontinued and almost all sold out in Europe anyway.
If it wasn't for the fact the weather will be hiddeous here tomorrow I think I'd love to get my black speedy out. Maybe if the weather gets better I can take this little beauty out. As it's been a while still looking good for a 2003 bag
There seems to be a few pieces still made in 2015. Had a chance to see a blanc Alma and blanc Speedy 30 with date codes ending in 2125. All MC SLGs have been removed from display. Could mean anything.. lol 
I do realise the boutiques have to make way for new inventory all the time.
Could LV headquarters just give the instruction to recall all MC items and they will be packed and shipped back in a matter of days? Does it happen "just like that?"

When products are discontinued you have two scenarios:
1. They are left in store until they slowly sell out
2. They are recalled to the ateliers. Become available at special prices to LVMH employees. Then the rest is destroyed and becomes a tax write off.
I have been wanting to buy the mc noir zippy wallet for years and recently I went to the store to view it. Yesterday I went to see it again, wanting to buy it but they only had the Sarah wallet left. While I love the mc print, as I looked at other classic prints and newer designs, I felt that it was time for me to end my love with the mc as I'm sure there will be new ones and I'm excited. The mc will always be special for me, but I don't have to own it.
When I was in the store last Saturday in Dallas looking at wallets, I saw MC wallets in the drawers. So they're definitely still available.
Did they have coin purses or cosmetic pouches? My local LV has some wallets (insolites ... sp?) but they claim no other types of the SLGs are in stock around the country. I want the coin purse, key holder and card holder. I ask every time I go just to see if someone might know something I don't, lol!

Yes she is. I bought her preloved a few months ago. She is in pretty good shape for being over a decade old.
It's good you didn't notice because if there were any, I'd be calling your store right now - and I spent $4k yesterday at LV and $2300 two weeks ago, so it's time for a break ... maybe!
