Bandouliere strap on my classic Speedy 25, by far the OG of my bag collection. The little old lady (from 1996) is still recovering from surgery last Spring when most of the vachetta was replaced (the patina is coming along nicely and almost matches the original handles underneath the silk scarves), but the canvas is in perfect condition. It was my using a strap that caused the chaps to break (and hence the extensive repairs), so I’ll be using this new strap on my shoulder only sparingly, when I absolutely need to free up my hands for something, and only when the bag is light/ not full. Otherwise, I’ll just leave it dangling; the pop of red is so fun.

What do you like better the black/mono or the hot pink/mono for classic Speedy 30 B?

I like the pop of color with the hot pink but I do not have anything in my wardrobe that color. My whole closet is black. So, the black would def coordinate well but may I need that pop of color?

Go for the pop of color! I wear a lot of black as well and wanted a mono & black strap but couldn’t find it in stock. I “settled” for the mono & red bandouliere, and I love it! Because my wardrobe is so neutral - lots of black and navy and grey - the red strap compliments everything really well and gives it a fun splash of color. It’s a good way to introduce some color to your bag collection without a huge commitment. I’m not the kind of person to buy a red bag, but it lets me dip my toe in, so to speak. Also, that pink is so beautiful. I wish my local boutique had it in stock when I purchased mine. Every time I see it IRL, it turns my head.

Thank you for your reply! You are so right and it is just a touch of a color.

I like your Bandeau too!
