LV Speedy B or B city or Givenchy antigona?

I would get the Speedy b in DE if this is to be an everyday bag, mainly for its durability and price. Bal bag corners don't wear well to me. The medium Antigonas are too structured for an everyday to me especially if there is public transportation involved.

I'm still considering but I'm not a fan of the damier...will be going to try it out at the LV boutique after work with my bestie hehe thanks!

I think I would pick the Givenchy Antigona, but I have not seen it in real life. I kind of reserved about buying the bag because of the size (big) and wonder if it will lose its shape.

I thought of the small size..I think even the shiny black wears well (a friend has the mini and it still looks pretty new after awhile) 😃

Bal is edgy, Speedy is classic and Antigona is fashion forward. How do you see your self? :-)

Right now, I'm leaning towards Bbag and Antigona - I have classic bags i.e. Chanel already and an LV epi alma. I just thought that speedy will be a good item to have - but unfortunately I tried on the Damier Ebene and it just didn't look right on me :D

I'm having a bit of a Speedy dilemma myself ... I tried on the Speedy B when it first came out and it didn't work for me at all, but now that I'm using a bag organizer/insert, I want to try it again to see if it makes a difference. I just couldn't handle the slouch. The fact that the bag is very common where I live also gives me doubts. I love my Bal City for style, but again, it's so unstructured that it doesn't work for me. Plus, the shoulder strap doesn't work -- it's too short and constantly falls off my shoulder. I love this bag so much and end up upset every time I use it! The Givenchy is the opposite -- just too structured for me. I'd be bashing the corners into everything. My lifestyle is also very casual, so I don't think the bag will look right either. What's a girl to do?

Try Fendi Chameleon or Alexander McQueen Padlock satchel. They're not too structured but far from sluchy and the shoulder straps are long enough.

I'm a Chanel girl too but I love my bal city and small Antigona! The G21 HW gives the bag an edgier look compared to the G12. I hope bal would bring it back! Between this and the Antigona though, I prefer the Antigona. Its more structured look is more elegant, less casual and office appropriate IMO. I had a medium but the bag was way too big for me. My small still holds a good amount. It's mostly an arm/hand carry bag because the strap is kind of short. I see more people with Bals on the streets too so Antigona is more "special" to me.

Thanks for this. I have considered the Chameleon in the past but thought it was discontinued? Silly question about the McQueen bags -- is the skull padlock removable? The leather on those bags looks wonderful, but skulls really aren't my thing!

Sorry for being OT!

Also, what about the Givenchy Lucrezia? How does that one compare in structure to the Antigona?

As I understand it you have dismissed the SpeedyB after trying it.

I think it all comes down to whether you want a smart bag (the Antigona) to fit in with a tailored look or dress up a casual outfit OR you want keep a edgy casual vibe with the Bal City.

You ask if the City is dated, but in a way I think the Antigona will date quicker once this wave of structured/semi structured bags is over, as it fits in with a lot of other very fashionable bags right now. However, the Givenchy still gets my vote because it's the most versatile and I can imagine this one going everywhere no problem.
