I plan for one of these to be a workhorse bag. I thought this would be a more neutral sub forum to ask in lol. My style is classic feminine usually - I would like the bag to give me an edge (at times). I love my Chanel flaps but they are hard to get in and out of. I used to dislike the speedy but I thought the updated ones with the strap looked better but I really don't like the monogram canvas or damier canvas lol. Help! 😁

Balenciaga City would be perfect for you. :smile1:

Soft and very feminine bag, with some edge to it. It also a slim bag, while Givenchy and LV speedy seems bulky.

Thanks for your opinion! Do you think bbags are kinda outdated? I like the ones with giant hardware 😃 yes commuting with the antigona will probably be problematic, worrying about ppl bumping and possibly scratching my bag 😳

No I don't feel Balenciaga bags are dated. If I were a girl, Balenciaga would be my preferred brand to wear casually. I like the giant hardware too...especially the discontinued G21 hardware.

I love the three bags, minami...
The Speedy is iconic... If you choose the mono or the damier ébène, you won't have to worry about rain or scratches...
Undestructible, really!
The Bal is iconic as well, maybe a little less classic than the Speedy, It's also lightweight. ( the LV will be a little heavier).
The leather is strong, not as delicate as it looks!
As for the Antigona, If you choose it in goat leather, it will resist scratches and will be lighter weight than calf or lamb...
Tough choice!

Such great info! Sounds like I should be planning to get all three but not at the same time though! Lol. I actually like the smooth leather of the antigona..the shiny one? It's really tough... May I ask which antigona you have?

Right now I'm leaning towards bbag and antigona (medium or small not sure yet lol)

I don't have an Antigona, unfortunately but I browse all subforums and brand sites....😉
From what I know, the medium Ant is rather big. Look at the Givenchy subforum. There are pics of the different sizes.

I have had a Speedy mono for years and years and it is still great, I have never babied it.
Same with the Bal. It is from 2005 and I have taken it everywhere, rain or shine, and nothing has happened to it!😀

Yeah I'm checking out the Givenchy forum too lol. I love the city as well but I think the antigona might go better with my work outfits ..but def will get one city sooner or later hehr

I would get the Speedy b in DE if this is to be an everyday bag, mainly for its durability and price. Bal bag corners don't wear well to me. The medium Antigonas are too structured for an everyday to me especially if there is public transportation involved.

I think I would pick the Givenchy Antigona, but I have not seen it in real life. I kind of reserved about buying the bag because of the size (big) and wonder if it will lose its shape.
