LV Resellers.... Japan?

2022 update: I’ve had good success with Japanese resellers- my favorite right now is from luxe-brand-cerisier. They have super fast shipping through fedex and since I live in California it’s here within 2-4 days! I purchased the bag in my photo and the only issue I had is the storage smell but have gotten rid of most of the smell (dryer sheets and just airing it out in fresh air will help a lot). I‘m very tempted to purchase from next-innovation, kind of bummed since I missed their last 30% off sale. Like with all resellers I would just authenticate with another party beforehand To be safe

Hmmm, I ordered a bag from this shop on 4/27 and they said to expect the bag on 5/13. I sure hope that’s another case of them ‘underselling’ their delivery times. I‘d hate to have to wait that long. I’m on the west coast of U.S. as well.

It might be because i was reading online and saw on Instagram there’s a national holiday over there this week. Hopefully it gets to you soon!

I'm from Canada and I have had nothing but amazing experience buying from Japanese sellers on eBay. I've purchased from them twice and the bags were in immaculate condition! Just bought a vintage speedy 25 for $500 and it look like its never been used! The shipping was also VERY fast, I received my items within a week! The sellers were kind enough to declare them as gifts and not indicate the actual amount so I did not get charged duties. For reference one item was $500 as mentioned above and the other was $1100.

I highly recommend you to try out a Japanese seller, they're very nice and very accommodating [emoji4]
Im from canada too. Can you pls share who you used?

It's minimal especially with reputable sellers, and there is a long list of them on this forum. Personally I feel the risk is always there with getting pre-loved, no matter where you buy from, due to the technology of the super fakes out there and the rare chance that one of them slides past the authenticators prior to putting them up for sale.

That said, I've bought SLG and bag pre-owned from Japan recently and I couldn't be happier with their description, fast shipping and great deals. Do the research, examine the pictures carefully and get the item authenticated and you should be fine.
Where exactly can I look for this reputable list?

Hi!

I actually just returned from a 2 week vacation in Japan and the market for pre-loved brand goods is huge there! There are a lot of second hand shops (I've seen multiple Brand-off stores while there) and even your general department store that sells drug store/household/other items on the lower floors have floors in the top that sell new to pre-loved brand goods. All of the second hand stores have multiple locations too and pride themselves on authenticity. I would think most of the ones from Japan are fairly safe from being a fake. My boyfriend even bought a 2nd hand graphite damier cardholder in an older style from one of the stores. He got it for $150 and loves it! It's his first LV item too.

Like another poster said though, the only thing I'd worry about is smoke smells. Smoking is pretty big/common in Asia/Japan.

If anyone has any questions, I'd be glad to answer them, but I've only been inside the 2nd hand stores physically and have never bought through eBay for them. Just giving my opinion that I think Japanese sellers with good feedback are reputable and trustworthy though
Thank you for sharing this info!

I have purchased from Ilovekawaii and they were the only ones i have had to pay customs on so far. The bag was 147$ and the customs came out to $45 canadian. it was a nice bag so i didn't mind and i got a great deal overall. The bag came in a huge cardboard box with bubble wrap and a leather cleaning cloth. I have also purchased twice from hellovintage and was no dissapointed! However they sent everything in a plastic bag lol
What other sellers did you use that you didnt get customs for? Did you ask them to mrk low value? Im from Canada too so very curious as I have been nailrd every time. I am however, very new to purchasing online.

A lot of people on here have bought from Japanese resellers. I just wrote about my great experience with appleproject (eBay store: http://stores.ebay.com/Apple-Project-Boutique), who've been mentioned a few times in this forum. I thought their prices were more than fair and the shipping time was reasonable. What I like about Japanese resellers is that they will often exaggerate the flaws of the bag so you'll usually be pleasantly surprised once you receive it in the mail. In fact, I was so impressed with what I got, I'm considering buying from them to get gifts for family and friends.

I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them, just make sure you get your items authenticated if you're unsure of authenticity and that nearly all of these resellers will declare the full value of the merchandise bought. I haven't been dinged by customs, but I've heard of others who have, including US buyers if their item is really pricey (typically $1000+). The list of authentic resellers in the sticky section lists tons of Japanese sellers who are reliable. Hope that helps.
I agree, love Apple project!

Does anyone know if any of the eBay sellers offer wholesale purchase options? I've purchased from next-innovation before through eBay and was very pleased with my items. I wanted to send them a message about wholesale but I think it'd violate eBay's TOS, and I couldn't find a website for them outside of eBay.

Hi Ladies,

Just purchased an epi vintage saint cloud from Brandear via Ebay after seeing you all recommended them!

Im in CA so I should receive it by Friday

I will report back once it’s here!
Did you get your bag? How was the condition Vs the description? Thinking of getting an epi speedy from them if the items that they sell are legit and recommended.

Hi! I recieved my bag pretty quickly and the condition was awesome.

The listing had it at a 5/10 but I would honestly rate it around a 8/10.

I did have to clean the pockets and brass but thats it. There was a bit of wear on the strap but not bad.

Would def order from them again
