I agree, their site was very dated, but I think for those that search for the discontiued items or for the least expensive purchase of that item that might be hundreds of dollars more on elux or at the boutiques, use them for this reason obviously.

i had offered a while back to Carol to update and revamp the MP site for her, and bring it up to date at no charge (i was feeling charitable at the time, i normally charge upwards $8-900 for a website like hers), and showed her my portfolio and she's like, "Oh... uhh.. okay we'll keep you in mind but no thanks for now."

and apparently LVLU moved to EZBoard, and Queli resigned? dont know.

LVLU has moved to EZ board and is under much, much better management now!! :idea:


I got Carol's email as well. Unfortunately, she's made a mistake or two in the past (we all do) saying authentic items (purchased directly from LV) were fake. I suggest in all of my auctions that buyers take their items to the nearest LV Boutique for authentication.

I used Carol once. But now that I have you guys, I think I wasted my five bucks!!
I agree that the level of certainty that comes with buying from LV or eLux can't be beat. But, resources are out there if you want to purchase off eBay. It's not possible for EVERYTHING to be fake on eBay. There's still some good seeds out there.
