Lol... if I look at my old receipts from 2003-2007 I cannot believe how little I paid for my Louis Vuitton items. Oh how I miss those days and the tPF community from that period.

The very first LV I got was a petit bucket in 2005, it was $775......now I believe it's over $1200! I miss the old prices too lol

I think it was around 1999 when I purchased a Petit Noe for $425 at Neiman Marcus.

I got my first two LV from eluxury!!! 620 dollars for Speedy 30 in 2007 and 2008.

I paid $645 for my speedy 35 in 2007, got it on eluxury.

My musette salsa that I got in 1998 was $365.
Mini HL 1996 ish, $180.
mono Pochette accessory 1997 ish, $120.
mono pochette cles again 1997 ish, $90.
Damier Papillon 26, 2004-5 $495
Broadway messenger 2005 $895
Epi speedy 2004-05, $725

my list can go on and on,

many of my bags purchased in the earlier to mid 2000's were well under $1,000 that are comparable to bags that are there and above now. What can you do though....

My 35 in 2007 was $645, I'm going to venture to say in 2008 a 25 was around $625.

I found some Eluxury receipts from past LV purchases. I paid $460 for a mono Speedy 25 in Nov of 2003. $940 for a Popincourt Haut Jun 2008. $700 for a mono Neverfull Dec 2008. The Speedy was my first brand new LV.
My very first LV was a pre-owned Saumur bought from a reputable consignment store. The vachetta was still pale. I paid approx $350 for it. I was looking through my old catalogs to see what it retailed for back then, but I'm missing the price list.

My first brand new LV (and first LV bag altogether) was a mono Neverfull MM for $700 (apparently in 2008, I could not remember!)... I bought the DE Neverful GM for $850 in 2012 and sold it because it was too big just a few months ago, only to go rebuy it in the more practical MM size for $940. I DOWNGRADED and paid so much more. I almost died. Lol.

My monogram Deauville was about 700 a few years back. Yes I loved eluxury too. Gotta dig it out bc it looks like Deauvilles are big this fall!
