i know this is going to sound crazy especially since I own 23 LVs but I really dislike when they turn color. when they start to turn I usually will sell it on ebay and buy a new one. I know I am crazy, I just really like the new clean look, don't like how when it starts to turn some places get darker than others.

that makes me wonder too that some parts of the bag are darker. Eve those parts that are not being touched by hands

Looks like I'm a member now. Here's how the handles looked back in late November when my Speedy was new:

I don't use it everyday and yet 3 months later...patina! I thought I'd hate it, but it looks so much warmer now.

I am right there with you! So what's wrong with being a little crazy??

My belts:

the first one is four years old, the second one three and the third one not even one year old.
The patina on the first two belts is not a natural patina, it developed because I have to regularly clean the leather with babywipes and condition it afterwards. The patina on the all-Vachetta Perforated belt is natural: only sun and leather conditioner to keep the leather hydrated.

I posted these in another thread but thought I'd add them here. Here is my lovely and well cared for Mono 30 that I bought from let-trade. I bought it because of the patina!
