I'm new to LV and want a mono piece but I'm scared of the vachetta. So far it's just been DE for me.
this was preloved and came from Japan. the previous owner took excellent care of her. as for myself my mono piece, i treat them with LMB (lovingmybags.com) "miracle shield" specifically made for LV. i took my Artsy out once in the rain and it left with no watermarks and even patina.

Oh I know! I used to be scared too but now I love all my mono pieces because they will get a patina! I have several monos and they all are at different stages of color. They are so gorgeous to look at. I'm actually more paranoid of brand new white vachetta. It's so pale and ghostly.
The previous owner really did take care of their bags. Love it when other people do that too!

Oh my gosh, really? I think my speedy is super dark. I have no secrets. lol. I don't use lotions and I do not touch my bag after hand sanitizers. Other than that, I dont treat my bags and I dont baby them, but I suppose I do not abuse them either. So I'm not much help. I just use them and love them!
