LV Patina Club - Show us your tan!

I have a lot of patina on the trim of my black MC wallet, but the interior is the exact color it was when new. It appears to be vachetta on the interior but a little shinier. Maybe it's not vachetta, or is coated to keep it clean? Does anyone know? Why doesn't the inside patina. I know it doesn't get as much light, but you'd think the edges would change a little?

I love your collection! I noticed your Speedy w/ a long strap on there. Can you post modeling pics please. I am thinking of purchasing a strap for my Speedy as well since it gets tiring carrying the bag on my arm all day.

I thought I would post a pic of my mom's 30 year old Speedy! Purchased in Paris on her honeymoon for about $200

There is a completely different zipper on it as the old one broke a while ago. Otherwise, the canvas still looks great!

Three LV's across. . must be a 25 size. Besides 30 years ago women carried smaller bags than now.

It looks good for it's age.

hi everyone,,

I'm new to this forum and I'm so glad I've joined, I'm new to the world of LV as well, I have recently purchased a Delightful mm and I love it, I wanted to get a neverfull in DE, I love the pattern and also I was worried about the vachetta changing color but when I saw the delighful I just loved it. And after I saw all of your lovely bags with the patina I just love it more.

Will since my bag is still new I wont be posting a picture of the tan. However, and I'm sorry if I'm supposed to post this question on another thread, as I'm thinking of getting something in azur (either a speedy or a neverfull) for my next LV purchase; I wanted to know what do you think of the dark patina color on the azur print as it's a big contrast in colors between the handles and the rest of the bag itself.
