LV Over the Years

I have several pieces from the 60's and they are beautifully made but some of my LV from the 80's is really misalligned. I think it's been good some years and sometimes not so good others. Year one for MC was NOT good. They had a lot of peeling problems with them.
As far as the the repairs go you have a two year warranty on a new item, and if something goes wrong within those two years LV will fix or replace it for free but you can always bring in authentic LV to be repaired, you'll just have to pay for it. It's not too bad IMO. V

I definately notice the difference even from 10 years ago. Ive seen speedy's with crooked stitching. Dont ever buy anything thats made in the US anymore. Thats why i wont buy mono or damier anymore bc theyre all made here. :(

When I bought my Speedy (it's made in France), my SA told me the same thing. She said the LVs made in France are better quality than the ones made in the US. I have no idea whether or not that's true. However, my 'made in the USA' LV wallet is falling apart. The threads have loosened.

I've never seen that with any U.S. piece as LV's quality control is top notch.

I'd wonder what she's doing to the wallet. The materials, stitching and everything are the same from country to country, and the canvas lines are notorious for holding up beautifully. If someone is terrible with wallets, there's no company that can produce something that will be pristine forever.

My friend bought a Damier wallet, and the threads are coming off. She's pretty upset.
I have a feeling that LV quality is got as great as 100 yrs ago. Now they mass produce a lot of items, unlike before.

Each Time I Paid. I Just Asked My Husband, How Much It Was (He Picked It Up The Last Time)...He Can't Remember. Than He Asks Me, Why I Don't Just But A New One. He's Offering ~ I Will Accept......I Just Told Him The Rotating Idea. He Thinks I Should Just Keep Replacing......Sounds Good To Me!!!
