Does anyone know what the deal is about the codes on the keys? Are all keys and locks different and if you loose your key, is it possible to get a new one. There is only 3 digits on the key, so it cannot be some kind of a serialnumber for the key right?

Yea I was wondering the same thing too. My code is 301 for my lock and key

How may kinds of locks are common and what are the differences? So far I have seen 312 ands I saw a picture with 318 it was a darker lock. was that real? Thanks!

I had misplaced (lost) my key for the lock on my Alma. I was in one of the LV stores buying something else, and mentioned to the SA about the lost key.

She brought out a box of a ton of loose keys - and we were able to find one that matched the code on my lock. Score! And it was free.

Hi everyone, I just bought the new epi speedy 25 (silverish hardware) and was wondering if all the locks are the same. I am used to seeing the LV logo on the lock, but this one actually has "louis vuitton" on it... Do the locks vary? Thanks!

I had my lock and key replaced for free at the LV store. Just propped my Speedy on the desk and said I needed a replacement! She changed it all out free of charge.. I was one happy camper
